CALL FOR PAPERS
From 13 to 14 November 2023, the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions’ (SACPCMP) will be presenting its Conference and Masterclasses. The Council is calling on all interested authors to submit an abstract of their conference papers for consideration, for presentation at the 2023 Conference.
Three competencies form the foundation from which the SACPCMP will present its 2023 Conference and Masterclasses, themed: CONSTRUCTING BUILT ENVIRONEMENT SUSTAINABILITY, DIGITISATION & INCLUSION. All content and information emanating from the event will support issues that are key to the development of professionals who are able to respond to the challenges and opportunities presented by the Built Environment.
The SACPCMP is calling on all interested authors to submit an abstract of their conference papers for review using the format in Annexure B. Your submission should include the following:
- Title of the conference paper
- Name of the Author/s
- Name of the Institution and department with which the author is affiliated
- An Abstract with the following criteria:
– Consists of a single paragraph up to 250 words, with correct grammar and unambiguous terminology.
– Be self-contained. No abbreviations, footnotes, references, or mathematical equations.
– Highlight what is unique in your work.
– Include 3-5 keywords or phrases that describe the research to help readers find your paper.
Please use the template provided for your abstract submission. Authors are requested to submit abstracts in electronic format via e-mail to the e-mail address provided IN Annexure A. Deadline for submissions is 11 August 2023.
Only six (6) conference paper presentations can be accommodated in the conference programme and thus it is imperative that the above criteria are strictly adhered to for your submission to be considered. After your submission has been reviewed, if it is accepted, submission guidelines and a conference paper template will be sent to you before the submission of your conference paper.
Authors are encouraged to thoroughly read the submission guidelines (Annexure A) before submission and to also pay attention to the important dates pertaining to the conference. See Annexure B must be used as the submission template. Submissions that do not follow the guidelines or utilise the required template will not be considered.
