Written comments and inputs are invited by the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) from the Public on the RULES FOR REGISTRATION WITH THE SACPCMP.

The South African council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) prescribes the registration of Project and Construction Management categories of registration as well as specified categories in terms of section 18 of the Project and Construction Management Professions Act, Act No. 48 of 2000 (the Act). The registration rules described in this associated document apply to all the registration categories of the SACPCMP.

These rules are prescribed in accordance with the SACPCMP Registration Policy. The associated document, which can be found at the Council’s website via www.sacpcmp.org.za provides the requirements with which an individual must comply in order to attain registration with the SACPCMP. Those who wish to register with the SACPCMP will be required to follow the prescribed registration process, and subject themselves to the competency requirements set for the relevant registration category.

In order to register in any of the registration categories mandated by the SACPCMP set criteria and competency requirements, set out in the associated document must be met in full and to the Rules for Registration in the associated document on Page 5 of 79, to the satisfaction of the SACPCMP. The SACPCMP has as its objective, the regulation of the professions under its ambit, thereby ensuring their progressive development.
